500 Billion Plastic Bags, is the number consumed annually, which is about a million a minute. This art video by Dickson Beall has been described as thoughtful, moving, disturbing, disgusting; it is full of reality and beauty, emptiness and fullness.
Music is by Rachmaninoff and performed on the St. Louis Cathedral Basilica organ by Charles Callahan.
The video opened March 16, 2007, at the Bruno David Gallery in Grand Center, St. Louis, Missouri.

With Michelle Obama putting in a garden on the south lawn of the White House, we can expect that gardening may become the next big thing.
